We are seeing golf courses struggling in Green Valley. One shut down in 2012 and despite optimistic projections, doesn’t look to re-open anytime soon. Others that remain open are declining in quality, leading to reduced activity and revenues.
As this article indicates, there are some options but how viable would they be in this area? Much of our golf course land is located within flood plains, so further development might not be an option. What would you do with a former golf course here?
